Kim is a licensed-attorney and co-founder of the firm. Kim has more than a decade of experience in the government relations and political arena.
She served as fundraising coordinator for Al Gore's presidential campaign in 2000. Her experience also includes tenure as a government affairs and communications associate for the Tennessee Valley Authority and policy director for the Tennessee Department of Environment and Conservation under Governor Bredesen. Kim also served as compliance director for the state Democratic 2006 Coordinated Campaign.
Kim graduated from Nashville School of Law in the top 10% of her class, and she received her bachelor's degree from Middle Tennessee State University. She is Of Counsel to Farrar & Bates, LLP. Adkins is a member of the Tennessee Bar Association, Nashville Bar Association, Nashville Women's Political Caucus, the Tennessee Lobbyist Association, and the Nashville Sports Council.
In 2010, she was selected as a delegate to Russia for the American Council of Young Political Leaders. Later that same year, Mayor Karl Dean appointed her to serve on the board of the Nashville Sports Authority. Kim and husband Greg live in Nashville and have a daughter, Abbey.
